Biotifem Max is a medicine belonging to the group of vitamin preparations. The active substance of the product is a B vitamin - biotin, which improves the condition of the skin, hair and nails by supporting the processes of cell differentiation and keratin formation. Each tablet contains 10 mg of biotin.
What are the symptoms of biotin deficiency in the body?
Hair loss, excessive brittleness and hair growth disorders.
Brittleness and growth disorders of nails.
Skin inflammation located around the eyes, nose, mouth and perineum.
Biotifem Max can be used to treat biotin deficiency as well as to prevent the consequences of biotin deficiency. Taking the preparation is recommended after the doctor has ruled out other causes of symptoms than biotin deficiency.
The recommended daily dose for symptoms of biotin deficiency is 5-10 mg. The large pack of the medicine contains 60 tablets suitable for use in adults.
Indications:
Biotifem Max is used to supplement biotin deficiency and prevent the consequences of its deficiency.
Composition:
1 tablet contains:
Active substance: biotin 10 mg
Other ingredients of the drug (excipients): isomalt, magnesium stearate.
Action:
Supporting the processes of differentiation of epidermis, hair and nail cells and the formation of keratin.
Dosage:
Always take your medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults: the recommended dose is 5 mg to 10 mg of biotin per day.
Children and adolescents: can only be used after recommendation by a doctor who will determine the optimal dose of the drug.
Elderly: dosage as for younger adults.
The duration of treatment depends on the type and course of the disease.
The symptoms disappear after about 4 weeks of using the drug.
If there is no improvement after 4 weeks, the patient should contact his doctor to rule out other causes.
Contraindications:
Allergy to biotin or any of the other ingredients of the drug.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Do not use in children.
