NASAL AND SINUS IRRIGATION SUPPLEMENT SET - 30 sachets

IRIGASIN is a medical device intended for the preparation of a solution for rinsing the nose and sinuses.

IRIGASIN allows the preparation of both isotonic and hypertonic solution, depending on your needs.


Indications:

Isotonic sodium chloride solution cleans the nasal cavities of residual secretions, bacteria, viruses and allergens, and cares for the nose and sinuses in the case of:

· acute or chronic sinusitis

· rhinitis in the course of an infection or allergy

· before and after surgery of the nose and sinuses

· after exposure to high concentrations of dust in the air

· prophylactically to maintain proper hygiene of the nose and sinuses.

An additional advantage of the isotonic solution is the moisturizing effect on the dried nasal mucosa as a result of long-term use of nasal medications or as a result of staying in air-conditioned or excessively heated rooms.

Hypertonic sodium chloride solution, in addition to its cleansing effect, due to the higher concentration of the active substance, has osmotic properties, thanks to which it reduces mucosal swelling. It is therefore recommended in the case of nasal swelling accompanying rhinitis during an infection or allergy (hay fever), as well as sinusitis.

Procedure:

Adults and children over 4 years of age :

Rinse the nose and sinuses 1-2 times a day or as directed by a doctor.
Children may only use the product under the supervision of an adult.

· To prepare an isotonic solution , pour 1 sachet of powder into the bottle and then fill it up to the marked line (240 ml) with boiled, cooled water.

· In order to prepare a hypertonic solution , pour 2 sachets of powder into the bottle, and then fill it up to the marked line (240 ml) with boiled, cooled water.


Contraindications and precautions:

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to sodium chloride.
Immediately after irrigation, do not lie down for an hour to prevent the remaining solution from getting into the ear.
Do not use in cases of complete blockage of the nose, preventing the escape of the solution.
Do not use in case of infection or the feeling of ear blockage.
If you have had ear surgery, consult your doctor before use.
Do not use later than one hour before bedtime.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Protect from light and moisture.
Store at room temperature.
Use in children and adolescents
Before using the product on children under 4 years of age, consult a doctor.

Additional information:

This product is suitable for kids (4+ years) and can be used by breastfeeding and pregnant women.
It does not affect the ability to drive and use machines.
